Magnifications
What began as a series of close-up photographs evolved into something deeper — a way of re-imagining watercolor textures as entire worlds. Each Magnification originates from one of my watercolor paintings, revealing intricate details of pigment flow, salt texture, and granulation that often go unnoticed at full scale.
These are not photographs, but limited edition signed fine art prints — giclées on archival cotton paper — where organic watercolor surfaces become landscapes of their own, shaped by water, pigment, and chance. Each image is thoughtfully refined to heighten its color, texture, or abstraction — extending the expressive language of the original painting.
