Deep teal and green surround luminous copper forms in Ancient Light, creating the sense of something glowing within a dark, unknown landscape. Pigment was allowed to flow, merge, and settle freely, forming shapes that suggest caverns, stone, distant structures, or something entirely imagined.
Iridescent copper shifts subtly with the light, revealing warmth and texture that change as the painting is viewed from different angles.
